AMADO
AMADO (Aéronef Miniature Automatisé de Détection et d’Observation) is a project started to concur in an academic contest ran by the ONERA (Office National d’Etudes et de Recherches Aérospatiales) and supported by the DGA (Délégation Générale pour l’Armement). This contest was opened to engineer schools and universities. Every team had to create an mini UAV (less than 70cm) conforming to specific rules. The goal was to explore several technical solutions for mini UAV and to test them on the field. Twenty projects were initially selected and got some financial support. The contest was ending in September 2005, but AMADO is still active in the lab with a new embedded system under development.
This project was supported after 2005 by the CS ENSMA and P’ Institute. Several laboratories are involved: LISI, LEA, LAII, LMS, SIC.
Start Period: 2002
Duration: 3 years + renewed thanks to CS ENSMA
Type: DGA
